JARDINE HENDERSON LTD. Vs. STATE OF WEST BENGAL AND OTHERS

JUDGEMENT

(1.) By an Order of Reference dated the 22nd Sept., 1964 being No. 4430. IR/IIL-62 (E)/62 the Government of West Bengal referred an industrial dispute between the petitioner and its employees represented by the Central Machine Sec. (J. H. Ltd.) Employees Union the respondent No. 4 here, in inter alia, the following dispute for adjudication:-

(2.) Thereafter the parties filed their respective Written Statements before the Third Industrial Tribunal.

(3.) By a petition dated the 7th July, 1966 filed before the Tribunal, the Company prayed that the above issue may be answered in the affirmative.
