JUDGEMENT

(1.) HEARD the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned counsels appearing for the respondents.

(2.) THIS Writ Petition has been filed praying for a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to issue Form-III permits to the petitioner, at the Forest Department Check Posts, on the Tamil Nadu - Karnataka border, when the Petitioner's consignment of Silver Oak timber logs are transported from the State of Karnataka, into the State of Tamil Nadu, by the Petitioner, along with the necessary valid documents, except the transport permit.
