JUDGEMENT

(1.) THIS is an appeal by appellant No. 1 Postmaster, Head Post Office, Kendrapara and appellant No. 2 Senior Superintendent of Post Office, Cuttack being aggrieved by the order dated 30.11.1996 of the District Forum, Kendrapara in C.D. Case No. 244 of 1996 awarding a compensation of Rs. 4,000 to be paid by appellant No. 1 and Rs. 1,000 by appellant No. 2 along with cost of Rs. 200 to be paid by appellant No. 1 and Rs. 100 to be paid by appellant No. 2.

(3.) WE have heard the learned Counsel for the appellants as none appeared for the respondent. This appeal has been filed by the opposite party Nos. 1 and 2 challenging the orders of the District Forum as the District Forum had not found the opposite party No. 3 the Principal of the Ravenshaw College and opp. No. 4 the Post Master of the College Square, Post Office guilty for deficiency of service.
