M.THANIKACHALAM, J. - (1.) The first opposite party in C.C.70/2006 on the file of the District Consumer Disputes Redressal Forum, Srivilliputhur, who suffered an adverse order dated22.07.2010, is the appellant.
(2.) The parties are referred in this order as arrayed in C.C.
(3.) The complainant had purchased Ultra Filtration Cartridges and Micro Filter Cartridges, from General Electric Company, Amersham Bio Sciences Ltd., Indian Branch Office, T.Nagar, Chennai, by paying 1681 US Dollars, which was agreed by the Company, informing that the goods can be taken delivery as soon as it arrived in Airport. Accordingly, the complainant entered with an agreement with the first opposite party, for taking delivery and despatching the same to Virudhunagar, by paying a sum of Rs.20,000/-.;
