This writ petition has been filed for the following reliefs: "For quashing the order dated 10.3.2008 passed by the learned Permanent Lok Adalat, Jamshedpur in PLA No. 249 of 2007, whereby and whereunder the learned court below ignoring the contractual bindings in between the owner and the Insurer has awarded a compensation of Rs. 2,41,500/- + interest thereof at the rate of 12% from the date of application in favour of the claimant-respondent and against the present petitioner.";
