S.N.PATHAK,J. - (1.) Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned counsel for the respondents.
(2.) The petitioners are the Assistant Teachers working in the District of West Singhbhum since 1994. They were granted Grade- 1 and 2 scale by the competent authority. The petitioners claim that they have completed more than 8 years in Grade -1 and have now become eligible for grant of Grade- 4 pay scale.
(3.) It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioners that in spite of their eligibility, they have not been considered by the concerned respondent and they have not been placed in Grade-4 scale. Lastly, it has been submitted that there are more than 131 vacancies still existing.;
