MR.ANANDA SEN,J. - (1.) Heard the parties.
(2.) The petitioners are the Assistant Teachers working in the District of West Singhbhum since 1986. They were granted Grade 1, 4 and 5 pay scale by the competent authority. The petitioners claim that they have completed 5 years in Grade 5 and have now became eligible for grant of Grade 7 pay scale.
(3.) It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioners that in spite of their eligibility they have not been considered by the concerned respondent and they have not been placed in Grade 7 scale. Lastly, it has been submitted that there are more than 200 vacancies still existing.;
