- (1.) This writ petition has been filed for release of Truck bearing registration no. WB25A4191.
(2.) Mr. Sidhartha Roy, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, submitted that the said Truck is lying exposed to weather for the last one and half years and a petition for release of the same was filed in the confiscation case about one year back but no order has been passed thereon. He further submitted that the petitioner is ready to abide with any terms and conditions so imposed on him for release of the truck.
(3.) On the other hand, counsel for the State submitted that the confiscation case is going on. However, he could not show any reason as to why no order was passed on the petition filed on behalf of the petitioner for release of the truck.;
