JUDGEMENT

M.Y.EQBAL, J. - (1.) HEARD Mr. M.S. Anwar, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. V. Shivnath, learned counsel for the opposite party.
(2.) THIS application has been filed for initiation of contempt proceeding against opposite party No. 1, the Managing Director, Bihar State Lac Marketing Federation Ltd. for the alleged violation of the order dated 1.8.2000 passed in CWJC No. 2323/2000 (R). The aforementioned writ application was filed by the petitioner for quashing the departmental proceeding initiated against him and also the order dated 5.4,2000 by which he was transferred to Jante Factory, Murhu, Ranchi, This Court, by order dated 1.8.2000. refused to interfere with the order of transfer and departmental proceeding. However, so far payment of salary is concerned, the petitioner was directed to file representation before the competent authority and the latter was directed to dispose of the representation within a month by taking a decision for payment of salary.
(3.) PETITIONERS case is that in pursuance of the aforesaid order he filed representation before opposite party No. 1 on 11.8.2000 and also joined Jante Factory, Murhu. The representation of the petitioner was sent by registered post on 11.8.2000 which was said to have been received by opposite party No. 1. It is contended that instead of complying the order of this Court, the opposite party No. 1 issued a show cause notice dated 18.8.2000 calling for an explanation from the petitioner as to why he approached the High Court against the order of transfer. It is further stated that as per the direction given in the show cause notice the petitioner submitted his joining report in the headquarters of the opposite party on 21.10.2000. A copy of the show cause notice dated 18.8.2000 has been annexed as Annexure 3.;
