JUDGEMENT

- (1.) Heard the parties.
(2.) The admitted facts are that the appellants are the students of the Indian School of Mines, Dhanbad, a premiere Institute of the country. They were admitted in the said Institution under the reserved categories.
(3.) The Regulation of the Indian School of Mines provides that a student admitted in the Institute has to clear all the papers of the first year by the end of second year, failing which, he is liable to be removed from the Institute. For one reason or the other, the writ petitioners could not clear all the papers of the first year by the end of the second year.;
