JUDGEMENT
KANWALJIT SINGH AHLUWALIA, J -
(1.) By this common order, eleven petitions bearing numbers SBCRLMP Nos.992/2019, 993/2019, 994/2019,
995/2019, 998/2019, 1017/2019, 1019/2019, 1020/2019, 1062/2019, 1097/2019 and 1131/2019 filed by same petitioner shall be decided together.
(2.) Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that regarding the same set of allegations, eleven FIRs have been
lodged by different complainants. Learned counsel for the
petitioner has submitted that in all the eleven FIRs registered
against the petitioner, different complainant belonging to one
family have levelled similar allegations. Learned counsel for the
petitioner to emphasize stated that all the complainants are
closely related. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted
that the cases arising out of impugned FIRs are listed before
different Presiding Officers.
(3.) Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that in most of the complaints, witnesses are common. Learned counsel
for the petitioner has submitted that if a cross-examination is
extended by the petitioner, his strategy and tenor of cross-
examination will be known to the complainant and his witnesses
and in another cases gains made by the petitioner during cross-
examination shall stand demolished as witnesses shall plug the
loopholes in the prosecution case.;
