JUDGEMENT

(1.) HEARD learned counsel for the parties. Perused the record, more particularly the rejection order and the reply submitted by the respondents as well as the letter of the Superintendent of Police, which has been taken into consideration by the Advisory Committee while refusing first regular parole to the petitioner.
(2.) FROM the letter of the Superintendent of Police, we do not find anything specific against the petitioner so as to warrant rejection of his application by the Advisory Committee.
In the facts and circumstances of the case, since the petitioner is otherwise eligible, we deem it just and proper to allow this petition and direct that the petitioner be released on first regular parole for a period of 20 days on the usual terms and conditions.
Consequently, we allow this petition directing the Superintendent, Central Jail, Jaipur to release petitioner Nandu Singh @ Vikram Singh S/o Shri Jagdish Singh Rathore, R/o 544, Kathputli Colony, Kachhi Basti, Bhawani Singh Road, Jaipur (presently confined in Central Jail, Jaipur) on first regular parole for a period of 20 days, which shall commence from the date of his release, upon furnishing his surety for a sum of Rs. 50,000 (Rs. Fifty thousand only) along with two sureties of Rs. 25,000/- (Rs. Twenty five thousand only) each to the satisfaction of the Superintendent, Central Jail, Jaipur on usual terms and conditions, as determined by him. The Superintendent, Central Jail, Jaipur shall also fix a date for his surrender before the jail authorities.
The writ petition stands allowed with the aforesaid directions.;
