ARUN BHANSALI,J. - (1.) This writ petition has been filed by the petitioners seeking direction to the respondent-University to make fixation of petitioners' pay in the pay-scale pertaining to the post of Technicians (Non-Graduate), fixation of pay of petitioners No.1 and 2 in the pay-scale of Rs. 440-700 on the date of their initial appointment and in the corresponding pay-scales as ordered by the University under Orders dated 27.06.1980 and 30.01.1996 and for petitioner No.3 in the pay-scale of Rs. 1120-2050 on the date of his initial appointment and fixing of corresponding payscales in accordance with the orders.
(2.) The petitioner No.1 was initially appointed as Technician vide order dated 03.07.1980, petitioner No.2 was appointed on the post of Technician by order dated 27.03.1981 and the petitioner No.3 was appointed on the post of Assistant Mechanic by order dated 16.04.1987.

By office order dated 27.06.1980 (Annex.-4), it was directed that to remove anomalies as per Agreement between Non-Teaching Staff Association and the Vice-Chancellor of the 3 Universities, pay-scale of Rs. 150-330 in the Ranawat pay-scale, 1969 and its corresponding scale of Rs. 440-770 is allowed to the Lab Assistants/Technicians (Non-Graduate) w.e.f. 01.09.1976 subject to fulfillment of minimum qualification prescribed by the University. Whereafter by order dated 30.01.1996, the said resolution was reiterated and it was directed that the pay-scale of Rs. 440-770 (pay-scale 1976) and its corresponding revised payscale from time to time be given to Lab Assistants/Technicians (Non-Graduate).;
