JUDGEMENT
ALOK SHARMA, J. -
(1.) The petitioners are the students of ITI having been admitted to the trade of Wireman at the Government Industrial Training Institute for a two years
course. It is stated that the petitioners passed the Semester-I in the result declared therefor.
Thereafter they were admitted to Semester-II and then Semester-III which they read as regular
student and wrote the examinations, the result thereof was however not declared for reasons unclear
but apparently arbitrary.
(2.) Counsel for the petitioners submitted that the petitioners were however admitted to Semester-IV, have studied therein as regular student and have the requisite attendance to write the Semester-IV
examination. Yet in view of the non-declaration of the result of
Semester-II and III for reasons not attributable to the petitioners in any manner, they are not being
allowed to write the Semester-IV examination in the wireman trade. It has been prayed that in the
circumstances the respondents be directed to declared the petitioner's result of the Semester-II and
Semester- III in the trade of Wireman and they be allowed to participate in the Semester-IV
examination commencing on or about 08.08.2017.
(3.) Mr.Manu Bhargava, Government Counsel appearing for the respondent submitted that the result of the petitioners for Semester-II and Semester-III in the trade of wireman was not declared for
reasons of an error. He admitted that the petitioners were promoted to the Semester-IV of wireman
trade, studied therein as regular student and have requisite attendance to write the said Semester-IV
exam.;
