This petition was principally directed against the grievance arising from the open drainage flowing at the back of existing Vikramaditya Nagar, the colony of Judicial Officers, as a result of which nuisance was being caused in the colony by way of spreading of dirty water, and mosquito breeding.
(2.) As per the report submitted by the respondents, the said open nallah has since been closed and houses have been constructed thereon. Thus the complained nuisance due to open nallah has abated. From the perusal of proceedings and during the course of hearing, it further transpires that another relief was claimed to provide independent route to the residence of new colony that has come into existence between Vikramaditya Nagar and University Campus, instead of allowing a passage through Vikramaditya Nagar.
(3.) However, it appears that for the time being no other alternate passage is available apart from passing through the colony for which a gate has been set-up to regulate the passage through Vikramadiya Nagar.;
