JUDGEMENT

- (1.) Petitioners have preferred these separate writ petitions with following prayer: "(i). the impugned action of the respondents in rejecting the candidature of humble petitioners on the ground that their degree of Bsc (Hons. ) (Agriculture) from MJRPU, Jaipur is invalid, may kindly be declared illegal and arbitrary and therefore, same may kindly be quashed and set aside. (ii). By issuing the writ of mandamus, order of direction in the nature thereof respondents may kindly be directed to (a) petitioners be declared eligible by treating their qualification Bsc(Hons. ) (Agriculture) from MJRPU Jaipur is valid; (b) to allow humble petitioners to participate in the selection process on the post of Assistant Agriculture Officer (AAO) to conduct their interview; (c) to appointment humble petitioners on the post of Assistant Agriculture Officer (AAO) with all consequential benefits. (iii) Any other appropriate order or direction which this Hon'ble Court deems just and proper in the facts and circumstances of this case may kindly also be passed in favour of the petitioners. "
(2.) It is contended by counsel for the petitioners that candidature of petitioners was rejected on the ground that their degree of B. Sc. (Hons. ) (Agriculture) from Mahatma Jyoti Rao Phoole University, Jaipur is invalid. It is contended that petitioners appeared in joint entrance examination and they were allotted Mahatma Jyoti Rao Phoole University, Jaipur. Agriculture University, Kota has also allotted seats to Mahatma Jyoti Rao Phoole University, Jaipur.
(3.) It is contended that as per directions of the Court in some of the writ petitions, petitioners have appeared in interview. The matter was placed before a committee and committee has come to the conclusion that the University complies with the directions issued by the State and ICAR with regard to Agricultural subjects and that the same is also in accordance with the scheduled to Mahatma Jyoti Rao Phoole University, Jaipur Act, 2009.;
