V.RAMASUBRAMANIAN,J. - (1.) The Himachal Pradesh State Pollution Control Board has come up with the above writ petition challenging an order of the Himachal Pradesh Administrate Tribunal (hereinafter referred to as 'the Tribunal'), directing the consideration of the case of the respondent herein for promotion to the post of Junior Scientific Officer, with effect from the date on which such a benefit was conferred upon two individuals, by name Shri Praveen Sharma and Shri Sunil Rana.

Three posts were notified, out of which one was kept reserved for candidates belonging to the Scheduled Caste and the other two General Category.;
