JUDGEMENT

(1.) This appeal has been filed by Amarjit Kaur against whom decree for restitution of conjugal rights hats been passed at the instance of her husband Hardial Singh, respondent. The trial court found that the wife had failed to prove that the husband had withdrawn from her society for sufficient and reasonable cause; rather she had withdrawn from the society of the husband without reasonable cause.
(2.) Efforts were made in this Court for reconciliation. Vide orders dated 17th April, 1986, the parties had agreed to a compromise according to which it was agreed that the husband would go to wife's village and bring her back along with the children. The District Judge, Gurdaspur, was directed to make arrangement for police help for the husband as he apprehended untoward incident in connection with his visit to the wife's place.
(3.) It has been stated at the Bar on behalf of the respondent-husband that in spite of that the parents of the wife Amarjit Kaur did not agree to send her along with him. The respondent himself was present in this Court on 12th May, 1986. Moreover, the decree for restitution of conjugal rights has been passed and even now the parties will have an opportunity to live together as husband and wife. Under the circumstances, no interference is called for with the findings of the trial court. Consequently, the appeal fails and is dismissed with no order as to costs. Appeal dismissed.;
