JUDGEMENT

(1.) By virtue of this revision petition, petitioners have challenged the judgment dated January 02, 2016 passed by learned Additional Sessions Judge, Jalandhar whereby the conviction under Section 138 of Negotiable Instruments Act awarded by learned Judicial Magistrate Ist Class, Jalandhar vide judgment of conviction and order of sentence dated April 13, 2015 was confirmed.
(2.) During the pendency of present revision petition, parties have arrived at a compromise. Respondent-complainant has also placed on record compromise deed as well as affidavit wherein, it has been categorically admitted that matter has been finally settled and that respondent-complainant has no objection, if the offence is allowed to be compounded and petitioner is acquitted of the charge.
(3.) After having elaborately heard learned counsel for the parties and perusal of record as well as the contents of compromise, this Court is satisfied that with the intervention of respectables, a compromise has been arrived at between the parties and after compromise, no dispute subsists between them.;
