JUDGEMENT
Raj Mohan Singh, J. -
(1.) This revision petition has been filed by the petitionerReliance General Insurance Company Ltd. against the orders dated 23.11.2015 (Annexure P-7) and 07.12.2015 (Annexure P-9) passed by Motor Accident Claims Tribunal, Panchkula (hereinafter to be referred as 'the Tribunal). Vide order dated 23.11.2015, the evidence of the petitioner was closed by order of the Court and by order dated 07.12.2015, application for leading additional evidence was declined by the Tribunal.

Claimant-Respondent No.1 filed a petition under Section 166 of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988 for grant of compensation against the petitioner and respondent No.2 on the ground that on 14.02.2013, the claimant had gone to Manimajra on business tour on his Activa scooter. His brother accompanied him, who was on his motorcycle. After the work both started for their home on their respective vehicles. When the claimant reached Sector 11-15 Chowk near Sector 14 market, Panchkula, respondent No.1 suddenly appeared from wrong side on her scooter which was being driven rashly and negligently by jumping over the divider. A collusion took place, resulting in injuries to the claimant. The injured was taken to hospital and was provided medical aid. The claimant received multiple injuries and was taken to Alchemist Hospital, Sector 21 Panchkula, where CT scan was done and injuries were found to be serious. Thereafter claimant was taken to Fortis Hospital, Mohali, where he remained admitted for ten days. The claimant prayed for grant of compensation to the tune of Rs.20 lacs.
(3.) The petitioner being respondent No.2 contested the claim of the claimant on the ground that the Scooter No.HR03-H-8217 was not insured with the Insurance Company. The respondent No.1 placed the insurance policy certificate on record showing that the insurance policy was valid w.e.f. 12.01.2013 to 11.01.2014 pertaining to scooter bearing No.HR03-H-8217. The stand of the Insurance Company was that the vehicle was never insured with the Insurance Company. The petitioner-Company moved an application for deletion of its name from the array of parties.;
