JUDGEMENT

HEMANT GUPTA, J. - (1.) THE petitioner has sought transfer of petition under Section 9 of the Hindu Marriage Act filed by the respondent and pending in the Court of District Judge, Sonepat to the Court of District Judge, Jind.
(2.) IT is pointed out by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the proceedings between the two parties for the grant of maintenance under Section 125 of the Code of Criminal Procedure as well as criminal case against the respondent under Section 498-A of Indian Penal Code is pending at Jind, therefore, it will be in the interest of justice if all the cases are decided and heard at one place. Keeping in view the said fact, the petition under Section 9 of the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955 pending in the Court of learned District Judge, Sonepat shall stand transferred to the court of learned District Judge, Jind. It shall be open to the learned District Judge, Jind to entrust the petition to any court of competent jurisdiction at Jind.
(3.) THE parties through their counsel are directed to appear before the learned District Judge, Jind on 10.3.2006. In the mean time, learned District Judge, Sonepat shall send the record to the transferee court forthwith. Petition alowed;
