JUDGEMENT

The compendium of the facts and material, culminating in the commencement, relevant for disposal of the instant petition and emanating from the record, is that, initially in the wake of complaint of complainant Rajiv Kumar alias Sonu son of Inderjit Vaid-respondent No.2 (for brevity "the complainant"), a criminal case was registered against petitionersaccused Jagdeep Bhola @ Sagar son of Birbal and others, vide FIR No.1095 dated 07.11.2013 (Annexure P-1), on accusation of having committed the offences punishable under Sections 406 & 420 IPC and Section 23 of The Security Contract Regulations Act, 1956, by the police of Police Station City Karnal.
(2.) During the course of investigation, good sense prevailed and the parties have amicably settled their disputes, by means of compromise dated 18.01.2014 (Annexure P-2) and affidavit of complainant dated 20.01.2014 (Annexure P-3).

Having compromised the matter, the petitioners-accused have preferred the present petition, to quash the impugned FIR (Annexure P-1) and all other subsequent proceedings arising therefrom, invoking the provisions of Section 482 Cr.PC, inter-alia, pleading that now with the intervention of respectable persons of the family and society, both the parties have amicably settled their disputes, by virtue of compromise dated 18.01.2014 (Annexure P-2). They have redressed their grievances.
They want to live in peace and harmony in future in the society. The petitioners have already paid the amount to the complainant. The compromise is stated to be in the benefit, welfare and larger interest of the parties. The complainant has no objection, in case the criminal case registered against the petitioners-accused, by way of impugned FIR is quashed. On the strength of aforesaid grounds, the petitioners-accused sought to quash the impugned FIR (Annexure P-1) and all other subsequent proceedings arising therefrom, in the manner described hereinabove.;
