- (1.) Petitioners have sought quashing of FIR No. 28 dated 21.2.2007 (Annexure P-1) registered with Police Station Haibowal, Ludhiana, under Sectons 406, 498-A, 467, 468, 471, 323, 307 and 506 IPC.
(2.) On 17.6.1989 marriage between Manohar Lalpetitioner No.1 and Suman Bala daughter of Shri Babu Ramrespondent No.2 was solemnized. A FIR (Annexure P1) was registered on 21.2.2007 against the petitioners. During the pendency of the trial in the Court of Additional Sessions Judge, Ludhiana, the parties have entered into a compromise and have settled the dispute amicably.
(3.) The affidavit of respondent is Annexure P2 in which she has stated that she does not want to pursue the FIR and has no objection if the said FIR is cancelled.;
