- (1.) This is a petition for quashing of F.I.R. No.180 dated 1.12.2004 registered under Sections 420,468,469,471 I.P.C. at Police Station "A" Division, Amritsar in which the petitioner prays that the same does not disclose the commission of any offence and neither are there any allegations against him.
(2.) The F.I.R. discloses the allegations of fraud in which numerous persons were involved indicating a collusive network amongst the beneficiaries. The petitioner was a Bank Manager and in the preliminary enquiry on the allegations made in the F.I.R., the name of the petitioner surfaces for having shown excessive evaluation of the land against which loan was raised and which loan subsequently went bad.
(3.) There is no representation on behalf of the petitioner, but this Court has perused the material with the assistance of the learned counsel for the respondents.;
