JUDGEMENT

(1.) This order shall dispose of two criminal petitions bearing Crl.
Misc. No. M-31795 of 2011 filed by Ajay Abrol, Ramesh Abrol and Shashi
Abrol and Crl. Misc. No. M-31796 of 2011 filed by Ajay Abrol as both the
cases are between the same parties. Crl. Misc. No. M-31795 of 2011 has
been filed for quashing of FIR No. 325 dated 27.9.2004 registered under
Sections 498-A, 406, 120-B IPC at Police Station Sector 36, Chadngiarh
and Crl. Misc. No. M-31796 of 2011 has been filed for quashing of FIR No.
213 dated 8.8.2007 registered under Sections 294,354,506,507,509 IPC at
Police Station Sector 36, Chandigarh, on the basis of common
compromise, which is annexed as Annexure P-2 in both the petitions.
(2.) Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the dispute
between the parties has been settled by way of compromise and an
amount of Rs. 3,75,000/- is to be paid to complainant-respondent No.2 and
all the cases pending against each other shall be withdrawn from both the
sides. After making statements for quashing of the FIRs, the petition under
Section 13-B of the Hindu Marriage Act will be decided, which is pending.
Learned counsel also submits that both the FIRs have been registered
because of matrimonial dispute between the husband, namely, Ajay Abrol
and wife Tashwinder Kaur.
(3.) Learned counsel also submits that in compliance of the
directions issued by this Court on 21.3.2012, statements of both the parties
have been recorded by the trial Court and a report with regard to
compromise along with the statements of the parties has been sent by the
trial Court, which is on record. It has specifically been mentioned in the
statement made by complainant that the compromise has been effected
between the parties and the same is not a result of pressure or coercion in
any manner and she has no objection in quashing of the FIR and other
proceedings initiated against the petitioners.;
