The petitioner by way of instant petition seeks for issuance of a writ of mandamus directing respondents No. 5 to 7 not to interfere in its functioning/business by not letting private trucks and imposing their will on the petitioner to hire their trucks and for issuance of directions to the official respondents to provide police protection to the petitioner and its employees for execution/performance of handling and transportation of trucks and labour hired by it at the industry owned by the petitioner in the vicinity of Rampura Phul, District Bathinda. According to the petitioner, respondents No. 5 to 7 and other members of the Truck Union, Rampura Phul are threatening the petitioner from performing its business. After hearing the learned counsel for the petitioner, perusing the petition and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction that as and when such a situation arises and a representation specifying the instances is made to the police authorities, the same shall be disposed of expeditiously in accordance with law.;
