Nirmaljit Kaur, J. - (1.) THIS is a petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C for issuance of an appropriate order or direction for the protection of lives and liberty of the Petitioners and their family members in case of danger to their lives and liberty at the hands of Respondents No. 3 to 9 as they are threatening the Petitioners and their other family members and son, namely, Harjit Singh alias Ganja of Petitioner No. 1 and 2 to implicate them falsely in the unsolved three murder cases including the disappearance cases of one Goldy of village Cholta near Kharar, District Mohali at the instance of Charnjit Singh Channi, MLA, Chamkaur Sahib, Sukhwinder Singh alias Shindi, President Truck Union Mohali and Ravinder Singh alias Ravi of Village Madanheri.
(2.) REPLY by way of affidavit of Varinder Pal Singh, PPS, Superintendent of Police (Detective) SAS Nagar (Mohali) on behalf of Respondents No. 1 to 3, 5, 6 to 8 has been filed. In preliminary submissions of the reply, it is stated that the son of the Petitioners No. 1 and 2 is a proclaimed offender (vide order dated 29.01.2009) in FIR No. 188 dated 2.06.2007 registered with Police Station Kharar, Mohali. Apart from this, he is also involved in FIR No. 79 dated 22.11.2009 under Section 307/473 IPC and Section 25, 54, 59 of the Arms Act. It is also stated that so far as the Petitioners are concerned, neither any case stands registered against them nor they are wanted in connection with any FIR at Mohali or Kharar. Reply by way of affidavit of Baljeet Singh Dhillon, PPS, DSP (Det.)Khanna on behalf of Respondent No. 4 has been filed. As per the said reply, the Petitioners are not wanted by the Police at Khanna.
(3.) IN view of the above, no further order is required to be passed.;
