Alok Singh, J. - (1.) PRAYER in the present petition, filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, is for the issuance of a direction to Respondent Nos. 1 to 3 to protect the lives and liberty of the Petitioners from Respondent Nos. 4 to 7. The Petitioners assert that they are majors and as there is no legal impediment, they have got married. They have already moved a representation (Annexure P/5) before the Superintendent of Police, Gurdaspur, for protecting their lives and liberty.

WITHOUT adverting to the merits of the controversy, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to the Superintendent of Police, Gurdaspur, to take an appropriate action on the said representation taking into consideration the validity of the marriage, as well as, the age of the Petitioners.;
