Nawab Singh, J. - (1.) HARWINDER Singh alias Sonu - Petitioner has filed this application under Section 439 of Code of Criminal Procedure for regular bail in case bearing First Information Report No. 14 dated February 24th, 2011 under Sections 307, 323, 324 read with Section 34 of Indian Penal Code, Police Station Sidhwan Bet, District Ludhiana Rural.
(2.) LEARNED Counsel for the Petitioner has urged that the Petitioner is in custody since March 1st, 2011. Sukhjinder Singh alias Kitta - injured has been discharged from the hospital. He received simple injuries in the occurrence as mentioned in the Medico Legal Report. The injured has also compromised the matter with the Petitioner as per compromise deed dated April 2nd, 2011 (Annexure P/1). Without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, taking into consideration the facts and circumstances, this Court is of opinion that it is a fit case to grant bail to the Petitioner. Accordingly, Petitioner -Harwinder Singh alias Sonu is admitted to bail on his furnishing bail -bonds to the satisfaction of the Chief Judicial Magistrate/Magistrate on duty, Ludhiana.
