JUDGEMENT
Protik Prakash Banerjee, J. -
(1.) This writ petition was instituted by Mr. Chatterjee, learned Senior advocate's client on an allegation that though his client complied with all formalities but high voltage connection was not being given to his client, as prayed for.
(2.) The reason for this was an objection by the private respondent (respondent no.4) as also objection by some other local people. The enquiry report which has been filed by the District Magistrate shows that on February 13, 2018 by an order no.4 the concerned District Magistrate had recorded that the objection was only to installation of an overhead wire for high voltage electric supply but there was no objection if supply of high voltage electricity was effected through underground cables.
(3.) As such, this writ petition can be disposed of by keeping on record the report dated February 19, 2018 containing the said order no.4 dated February 13, 2018 and directing the distribution licensee to effect connection and supply of high voltage electricity to Mr. Chatterjee's client, if it is technically feasible, at the cost of Mr. Chatterjee's client including further costs, if any, through underground cables. The distribution licensee shall on communication of this order intimate to Mr. Chatterjee's client what further costs are to be deposited. On such deposit such supply shall be made if technically feasible within a period of 10 days from date of deposit of costs.;
