Biswanath Somadder, J. - (1.) By consent of the parties, the appeal is treated as on day's list and taken up for consideration along with the application for stay.
(2.) The appeal arises out of a judgement and order rendered by a learned Single Judge on 7th November, 2017 in W. P. 27008 (W) of 2017 (Sarala Barman vs. The State of West Bengal & Ors).
(3.) The appellant is the writ petitioner whose writ petition stood dismissed in terms of the said judgement and order dated 7th November, 2017.;
