JUDGEMENT

Raghunath Bhattacharyya, J. - (1.)This appeal is directed against the order of conviction and sentence passed by the learned 12th Court Additional Sessions Judge Alipore, 24 -Parganas (South) under Sec. 21 of the Narcotics Drugs & Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985.
(2.)The learned Court below upon assessment of evidence on record passed the order of conviction and sentence on July 30, 1991 convicting the accused under the aforesaid Sec. and sentencing him to suffer R.I. for ten years coupled with a further sentence to pay a fine of Rs. 1,00,000, in default, further R.I. for two year. The period in custody, if any, shall be set off under Sec. 429 of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
(3.)The accused, since aggrieved by and dissatisfied with the order of conviction and sentence, has approached this Court to set at naught the order of conviction and sentence.
