PROKASH CHANDRA MALLICK, J. - (1.)In this original application, the applicant has prayed (a) for the quashing of the impugned letter, dated 31.12.1990 (annexure 'B') and (b) for a direction on the respondents to refund/reimburse his pending medical claims equivalent to Rs. 623.55p. forthwith.
(2.)The applicant was working as Scientific Assistant in the Botanical Survey of India, a Group 'C' post in the pay scale of Rs. 1640 -2900 for about four years. He is posted in the Botanical Garden, Howrah.
(3.)He is residing with his family including his dependent mother at Village and Post Office Baruipur, Distt. South 24 Parganas.
