In the writ petition the petitioners have prayed for a direction upon the authorities of the Nabadwip Municipality particularly on its Executive Officer, the respondent no.5, to renew the certificate of enlistment regarding the shop situated at 430 Paramatala Road in Ward no.14 within the jurisdiction of the said Municipality.

It is submitted by Mr. Soumya Majumder, learned advocate for the petitioners, that though, as evident from page 42 of the writ petition, an application was filed for renewal of the certificate of enlistment and though as evident from the order dated 16th July, 2009 in W.P. 2756(W) of 2009 the petitioners are in possession of a drug licence, however, till date the application is yet to be considered and disposed of.;
