JUDGEMENT

(1.) The petitioner claimed that he was an Ex-serviceman and as such, he was entitled to be considered in such category challenging the reservation policy of the Central Government as well as the State Government.
(2.) Facts would depict that the concerned advertisement appearing at page 31 of the petition did not specify any reservation for ex-serviceman category. The petitioner applied for the post as general candidate. He was successful in the written examination, however, could not cross the final hurdle of the interview, although, according to him, he faired well. He now contends that there should have been reservation for Ex-serviceman. Moreover, the process of interview was vitiated by bias. The Tribunal considered the issue and gave credence to the submissions made by the State that there was no reservation for the concerned post in Ex-serviceman category and as such, no such reservation was mentioned in the advertisement. On merits, the State contended that interview was conducted in accordance with law and final selection was made, that did not deserve any interference. The Tribunal dismissed the application by observing that the petitioner was not considered for appointment, as he could not qualify in the selection process.
(3.) Being aggrieved, the petitioner has approached us by filing the instant application.;
