BISWANATH SOMADDER,J. - (1.) Having heard the learned advocates for the parties and upon perusing the instant application, it appears that the writ petitioner participated in the selection process for the post of AYUSH Homoeopathic Doctor for Rangamati Ranjandi Gram Panchayat under Block - Kashipur, District - Purulia. An interview was held on 1st November, 2010, for the purpose of selection.
(2.) It is the contention of the petitioner that till date result of his participation is yet to be published by the concerned authorities. Learned advocate for the petitioner invites this Court's attention to the guidelines for engagement of AYUSH doctors in the Gram Panchayat Level Dispensary under NRHM. In particular, he refers paragraphs 11, 12 and 13 thereof and submits that, till date, no steps have been taken by the concerned authorities to adhere to the said guidelines.

In such circumstances, this Court directs the respondent no.7 to file a report in the form of an affidavit on the next date stating therein as to whether the process of selection for the post-in-question has been conducted in terms of the Guidelines, and if so, whether Guideline nos.11, 12 and 13 have been followed after the list of candidates has been prepared in order of merit.;
