Arun Kumar Mitra, J. - (1.) Throwing a challenge to Memo No. 945- SC/ G dated 16.6.89 issued for Director for School Education West Bengal and communicated by the District Inspector of Schools (SE Bankura) to the Secretary Panchal Girls' Junior High School, P.O. Panchal, Bankura through Office Memo No. 1241 dated 18.6.90 rejecting the prayer for higher scale of pay of the petitioner (which has been made annexure-L to the writ petition) and claiming higher scale of pay the scale No. 16 at Rs. 550-1470 on setting aside the said memo being annexure-L to the writ petition, this writ petition has been moved by the writ petitioners.
(2.) The claim as has been made out by the writ petitioners in the instant writ petition is inter alia as follows :
(3.) The writ petitioner being a graduate joined this school (Panchal Girls' Junior High Court, P.S. Panchal, District Bankura and hereinafter termed as the 'said school') as Assistant Teacher being in-charge of Headmistress. The appointment letter was issued to the petitioner on 10.3.80 and the petitioner joined the school on 12.3.80. Appointment letter has been made annexure-A to the writ petition.;
