JUDGEMENT

(1.) A draft suggested order has been handed over by the parties. Such draft suggested order, on engrossed paper, has been signed on every page by the
four appellants and today's date has been indicated. The respondent has agreed in
principle to the draft suggested order but has handed over a single page in A4 size by
way of suggestions. Such single page bears the signature of plaintiff, Atanu Lahiri, and
also carries today's date. The parties have left it to this Court to consider the suggestions
put forth on behalf of the plaintiff to the draft suggested order.
(2.) Mr. Gopinath Ghosh, who headed the Bengal Table Tennis Association for years and is known in the Maidan for his efficient conduct of sporting events and
administration of sports bodies, is appointed special officer for the purpose of conducting
the elections to the Governing Body of Bengal Chess Association (BCA). The salient
features of the electoral procedure to be followed by the special officer in the conduct of
the elections are indicated in Annexure - A hereto. He shall be entitled to take such
administrative and secretarial assistance as he feels necessary to ensure the smooth
conduct of the elections.
(3.) The electorate shall comprise the Ordinary Institutional Members as defined in Regulation 1(ii)(b) of the Regulations of the BCA.;
