JUDGEMENT

(1.) Heard Shri H.N. Singh, learned Senior Advocate assisted by Shri Rahul Kumar Gupta and Shri Arun Kumar, learned counsel for the respondent nos.2 and 3.

(2.) The petitioners have assailed the validity of the impugned advertisement dated 19.1.2017 issued by the Secretary, Basic Shiksha Parishad, U.P. Allahabad so far as it relates to the cut-off date for qualification of applicants upto 17.10.2013 mentioned in the earlier advertisement issued under Government order dated 15.10.2013. They have also prayed for direction to the respondents to fix the cut-off date of qualification upto the date of issuance of impugned advertisement dated 19.1.2017 and to consider their candidatures against the vacancies advertised under the impugned advertisement.

(3.) The petitioners claim to be fully qualified for appointment on the post of Assistant Teachers. They have have acquired the requisite educational qualification before issuance of the impugned advertisement dated 19.1.2017. They applied against the same and their application forms were also accepted by the Board. The respondent no.3 started counselling of the candidates on 30.10.2017 but none of the petitioners were called for the counselling.
