This writ petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India has been filed seeking quashing of First Information Report dated 10.12.2018 registered as Case Crime No. 166 of 2018, under Sections 498A , 504 , 506 , 406 I.P.C. and Section 3 / 4 Dowry Prohibition Act, Police Station Mahila Thana, District Meerut.
(2.) Matter was referred for mediation but as per report dated 23.05.2019 parties are not willing for mediation since respondents failed to appear on all dates. Hence we proceed to hear and decide this case on merits.
