JUDGEMENT
MAHESH CHANDRA TRIPATHI, J. -
(1.) By order dated 14.8.2018 passed in Writ A No. 17326 of 2018 filed by the applicants, this Court directed as under:
"In view of the aforesaid, this writ petition is disposed of directing the respondent no.1 to pass an appropriate order in the matter of the petitioners strictly in accordance with law, expeditiously, preferably within eight weeks from the date of presentation of a certified copy of this order after affording reasonable opportunity of hearing to the petitioners and the respondent no.3 and also after considering the policy decision of the State-Government being Government Order No.1867/15-12-2017-1600(342)/2017 dated 26.10.2017.
It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on merits of the claim of the petitioners. "
(2.) The record in question reflects that a certified copy of the aforesaid order was submitted for compliance before the opposite party but the opposite party has wilfully not complied with the order and, thus, has committed civil contempt liable for punishment under Section 12 of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971.
(3.) Prima facie a case of contempt has been made out. However, considering the facts and circumstances of the case, one more opportunity is afforded to the opposite party to comply with the aforesaid order of the writ Court within four weeks from the date of production of a certified copy of this order.;
