POONAM SRIVASTAVA,J. - (1.) THE landlord-petitioner has filed instant writ peti­tion with the prayer that the S.C.C. Suit no. 20 of 2007 Bholey Shiv Mandir v. Satya Prakash, pending in the Court of Judge, Small Causes Court, may be directed to be decided expeditiously.
(2.) THE suit is for eviction on the ground of arrears of rent. The rent has not been paid since the year 2000. The written statement was filed on 31.1.2008 but the suit is proceeding at a very slow speed. Having heard the learned Counsel, without giving any opinion on merit, this writ petition is disposed of with the direction that the Judge Small Causes Court, Ghaziabad, shall make every endeavour to decide the suit in accordance with law, expeditiously, preferably within a period of six months from the date a certified copy of this order is produced before him. It is made clear that no undue adjournment shall be granted to either parties unless and until compelling cir­cumstances arise to do so and that too after recording reasons in writing.;
