LAWS(ALL)-1997-9-260
HIGH COURT OF ALLAHABAD
Decided on September 30,1997

Pradeep Kumar Singh Sisodia Appellant
VERSUS
Addl. Dy. Inspector General (P.), G.C., Central Reserve Police Force, Rampur Respondents

JUDGEMENT

Sudhir Narain, J. - (1.) THIS writ petition is directed against the order dated 6.11.1988 passed by the Additional Deputy Inspector General (Police), G.C. Central Reserve Police Force, Rampur, Respondent No. 1, whereby the services of the petitioner have been terminated. The petitioner applied for appointment in the Central Reserve Police Force (in short C.R.P.F.). On 29.4.1988 he is alleged to have been selected as a member of C.R.P.F. He was sent for training on 6th November, 1988. Respondent No. 1 terminated his services purported to be under Rule 5(1) of C.C.S. (Temporary Service) Rules which is impugned in the present writ petition.
(2.) I have heard Sri M.C. Singh, learned counsel for the petitioner, and Sri Devendra Pratap Singh, learned counsel for respondents. Learned counsel for the petitioner contended that the services of the petitioner were terminated without disclosing any reason arbitrarily under the provisions of Rule 5(1) of CCS. (Temporary Service) Rules, 1965 which has no application to the facts of the case.
(3.) IN the counter affidavit it has been disclosed that after the selection of the petitioner he was sent for training. He was required to furnish correct information and should not have suppressed any factual information in the verification. Item No. 1 of Warning in C.R.P.F. Form 25 reads as under - - The furnishing of false information or suppression of any factual information in the verification roll would be a disqualification, and is likely to render candidate unfit for employment under the Government.;
