Saumitra Dayal Singh, J. - (1.) This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner Committee of Management, Prabha Devi Post Graduate College Mukhlispur Road, Khalilabad, District Sant Kabir Nagar against the order passed by the Northern Regional Committee of the National Council for Teachers Education dated 08.08.2014 and the order dated 25.11.2014 passed on the appeal arising therefrom.
(2.) By the order dated 08.08.2014, the recognition granted to the petitioner's institution to run B.Ed. course with an annual intake of 100 students has been cancelled from the academic session 2015-16 onwards. That order has been maintained in appeal.
(3.) Briefly, facts giving rise in the present case are, the petitioner's institution started a course of B.Ed. education from the academic session 2005-06. In respect of the said course the college had been granted permanent recognition by the National Council for Teacher Education (hereinafter referred to as the "NCTE"). Also, the college was granted temporary affiliation by Deen Dayal Upadhyay University, Gorakhpur. It was subsequently made permanent.;
