R.H. Zaidi, J. - (1.) Heard learned counsel for the applicants.
(2.) By order dated 8.4.1999 passed by this Court, Deputy Director of Consolidation was directed to call for the record of the appeal filed by the petitioners as there was no Settlement Officer Consolidation in Kushi Nagar and to decide himself or transfer the same to some other officer competent to decide the same. It was further directed that till the disposal of the appeal the operation of the order passed by the Consolidation Officer dated 17.10.1998 shall remain stayed.
(3.) The grievance of the applicants is that the copy of the said order was communicated to the Deputy Director of Consolidation but till date the appeal has not been decided by him or by some other competent authority nominated by the Deputy Director of Consolidation.;
