JUDGEMENT

(1.) Heard learned counsel for the parties and also perused the record.
(2.) By means of this petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, petitioners pray for issuance of a writ, order or direction in the nature of certiorari quashing the order dated 10.4.1992 whereby the revisions filed by respondents No. 4, 5 and 6 against the order dated 7.2.1992 were allowed.

The relevant facts of the case giving rise to the present petition, in brief, are the the proceedings for allotment of chak proceedings, the Consolidation Officer passed an order dated 23.2.1989 after hearing the parties allotting the chaks to them. Against the said order, three appeals were preferred before the Settlement Officer Consolidation. The said appeals were heard together and were dismissed by the Assistant Settlement Officer Consolidation by judgment and order dated 27.7.1989. Challenging the validity of the said orders, two revisions were filed by petitioner No. 4 and one revision was filed by respondent No. 6. Respondent Nos. 4, 5 and 6 filed applications to recall the order passed by the Assistant Settlement Officer Consolidation. The said applications were allowed by the Assistant Settlement Officer Consolidation by judgment and order dated 31.12.1991. For recalling the said order, petitioners filed an application dated 6.12.1992. The said application was allowed on 7.2.1992 by the Settlement Officer Consolidation. Thereafter, respondent Nos. 4, 5 and 6 filed revision challenging validity of the order dated 7.2.1992. The said revision was allowed by the Deputy Director of Consolidation by order dated 10.4.1992. Hence, the present petition.;
