ROHIT RANJAN AGARWAL,J. - (1.) Heard Sri Alok Mishra, learned counsel for petitioner and learned standing counsel for State functionaries.
(2.) This writ petition was filed with the following prayer: "(i) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding and directing the respondent concerned to make payment of 50% salary as back wages to the petitioner till his reinstatement in the service as well as other consequential benefits of service like seniority and regular increments etc."
(3.) However, when the matter was taken up today, counsel for petitioner very fairly confined his prayer that the authorities concerned may consider his claim and fix notional seniority and give consequential benefits arising thereto.;
