JUDGEMENT
B.N.Shukla, J. -
(1.) Insult in public often ends up more disastrously than one expects. This appeal is an example of the same.
The Fact
(2.) The pedigree of the accused side is as follows:

Munnu (Appellant 2)
Dinesh (Appellant 3)
2A. There was a marriage of son of Chunna on 25.5.1981. In this marriage, Ram Prasad Singh (the Informant) as well as Munnu (Appellant No. 1) were from the bridegroom side. There was altercation in this marriage; though, there are different versions of the same.
(3.) The next day at 11:00 am an incident happened. Surendra Pal Singh (the Deceased) son of the Informant was killed. The Informant lodged the FIR at 1:35 pm on the same day. The allegations in the FIR are as follows;
Yesterday, in the marriage of son of Chunna Singh, Appellant-1 stated quarrelling with the bride's side in drunken condition;
This was objected to by the Informant. It was not liked by Appellant-1 and he started fighting with the Informant. The nose of the Informant was also scratched;
When the deceased came to know about the same, he became angry and used foul and bad language against Appellant-1;
At about 11:00 am a boy came at the house of the Informant and asked the Deceased to come out to the Dharamshala at Chaumunda Road;
Savitri Devi Informant's daughter also went outside and stayed at the Baithak. Pintoo, younger son of the Informant was coming from his Bhabhi's house. They saw Deceased as running towards Baithak and Appellant nos. 1 to 3 were chasing him;
Appellant Nos. 1 and 2 caught hold of the Deceased in front of the shop of Asha Ram. Appellant-3 had a knife. He hit the Deceased with a knife;
Ram Gopal alias Pappu and Shivraj were also there and tried to save the Deceased;
The Informant works at the office of District Inspector of Schools. Pintoo and Shivaraj informed him there. By the time the Informant reached the spot, the Deceased had died.;
