- (1.) We have heard Sri T.P. Singh, learned senior counsel assisted by Sri Siddharth Singh, learned Counsel for the petitioner and the learned standing counsel appearing for the respondents.

The petitioner while posted as the Superintending Engineer, Ballia in the Public Works Department, has been placed under suspension by the order dated 18.12.2009 (Annexure-1 to the writ petition), and the disciplinary proceedings have been initiated against the petitioner by an order issued on the same date, i.e., 18.12.2009.
(3.) By the said suspension order, the petitioner has been attached to the Office of the Chief Engineer, Public Works Department, U.P., Lucknow.;
