- (1.) THIS petition has been filed by the petitioner, NEEPCO, a generating company owned by the Central Government for approval of tariff for Assam Gas Based Power Station, (hereinafter referred to as "Assam GBPS") for the period from 1.4.2003 to 31.3.2004, based on the terms and conditions contained in the Commission's Notification dated 26.3.2001, (hereinafter referred to as the "notification dated 26.3.2001").
(2.) Assam GBPS (291 MW) consists of six gas turbines of 33.5 MW and three steam turbines of 30 MW each.
